When asked in an interview with MTV News earlier this week about what she considers to be her favorite Olympic sport, singer/actress Kelly Rowland exclaimed without hesitation, ""Gymnastics! Gabby Douglas! She's awesome!"

And since her big Gold win in the gymnastics all-around on Thursday, Gabby Douglas has received an outpouring of love and congratulations from friends, family, fans, and even other big-name celebrities.

Another former Destiny Child's member, Beyoncé, expressed her gratitude towards Douglas as a strong and inspirational young woman in a blog post, writing, "A huge congratulations to 16 year old Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas - WOW - what a thrill to watch you take this Gold! - enjoy this moment, its yours. Thank you for inspiring all of us! Love, B."

One of Douglas' favorite rappers, Lil Wayne, also shared some love for the 4'9" gymnastics star, tweeting:

@LilTunechi: "Glad i lived to see what Gabby Douglas did in the Olympics. Icon."

And Nicki Minaj also gave a shout-out on Twitter:

@NICKIMINAJ: "Kisses to Gabby what an amazing little firecracker. #USA #Olympics,"

Douglas, 16, jumped on Lil Wayne's tweet responding with:

@gabrielledoug: "WOW!!!! Im speechless Thank you SOO MUCH!!"

 Minaj then jokingly wrote:

@NICKIMINAJ: "Oh wow, I tweeted about #Gabby earlier but she responds to@LilTunechi and not me? U know what? Ima fight u. I've had it!!!"

Douglas then wrote back:

@gabrielledoug: Hahaha I was trying 2find it! I PROMISE! THANK U SO MUCH! OMG IM NUMB RIGHT NOW! #SPEECHLESS"

And singer/dancer Ciara:

@ciara: "@gabrielledoug Not only am I happy 4 U. I'm happy for your family 2! The sacrifices payed off! Keep inspiring Young Girls and Women like Me."

Even 21-Olympic gold medal winner (at least that's where the number stands at the time of this writing) Michael Phelps took time to Tweet:

@MichaelPhelps: "Congrats to @gabrielledoug last night!!! We watched from the pool!!! #USA."

In an ESPN blog posted by Douglas following her win she writes, "You say you want to do it and you dream about it every day, but then when it happens, it's hard to believe it really has. Tonight, when the U.S. flag was raised and the national anthem played, there were so many camera flashes going off I felt like I was at a concert. And the crazy thing was, they were all taking pictures of me."

Douglas has now made an endorsement deal with Kellogg Co. and her face will appear on the boxes of Corn Flakes cereal.
