Celine Dion must have had a lot of trust in the doctor that allegedly performed the fatal biopsy procedure on Fashion Police star Joan Rivers.

With some research, TMZ learned that Dr. Gwen Korovin allowed cameras inside of her office during a Celine Dion documentary as she performed a vocal cord procedure on the talented famous singer.

MStars News previously reported that the celebrity doctor performed a procedure on Rivers when she stopped breathing, allegedly taking a "selfie," as the comedienne slipped into a coma.

Dr. Korovin looked at Celine's strained vocal cords during the singer's 2010 documentary, Through the Eyes of the World.

The procedure that was performed on Dion at the time is called a laryngoscopy ... "in which the mouth/oral cavity is numbed so the patient can respond to the doctor's commands."

We also learned that Dr. Korovin worked on multiple celebs including Lady Gaga, Hugh Jackman, John Mayer and Brooke Shields.

Her walls in her office are surrounded by all who trust in her work, and care.

Korovin was not certified to perform any medical procedures on Joan during the time of her scheduled endoscopy. Korovin has come under fire, and may face charges by Joan's daughter Melissa Rivers after reportedly performing the fatal biopsy when Joan stopped breathing, as she took a selfie during Joan's surgery.

"It's become very clear to Melissa and experts she has spoken to that her mother didn't have to die," a source revealed to Radar Online, as Rivers is thinking about suing Yorkville, where her mother's surgery was done. "This was a routine endoscopy that went wrong. ... Melissa will await the outcome of the official medical investigation and then absolutely file the lawsuits. She won't be doing it for the money. She wants to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else."
