Isn't the point of the TV talk show The View for the ladies on the roundtable to have different viewpoints? Well not in Rosie O'Donnell and Nicolle Wallace's opinions. The two co-hosts of the popular ABC daytime series got into a heated political debate earlier this week on the show.

The series is only three episodes into its all-new season and the stars are already getting into intense arguments with one another. The topic that Rosie and Nicolle were debating about was the fact that Wallace didn't think President Barack Obama "loved people."

Returning host Rosie and the new host Wallace didn't drop the argument even when they stepped off cameras. The NY Post is reporting that the two continued to spat even when they walked off the TV set.

"Rosie and Nicole were still going at it after the cameras stopped rolling,' an insider revealed to the paper. "Executive producer Bill Wolff had to call them both in and order them to calm down."

"The situation has become so fraught, that [network executive] Abra Potkin had to step in," to stop, "a monumental clash of egos."

Rosie left the series back in 2007 after her liberal views rubbed conservative Elisabeth Hasselback the wrong way.

However, it seems like the spat could be good for ratings as the season premiere drew 3.9 million viewers, which was the highest ratings for the show in 8 years.

Despites the paper reporting about the feud, RadarOnline is saying that reps for the network said that the rumors are "absurd," also explaining that "no power struggle" between the two exists.
