'Boardwalk Empire' Season 5 Spoilers: Will Kelly Macdonald’s Margaret Thompson Discover 'What Jesus Said?' [Watch Video]

As the period/crime drama, Boardwalk Empire, returns to HBO for season 5, the countdown to the series finale has begun. In the upcoming episode, What Jesus Said, audiences will catch up with Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi)'s ex-wife, Margaret Thompson (Kelly Macdonald) after the the season fourth finale.

In the gangster drama, Margaret (Macdonald) had too much of Nucky (Buscemi)'s criminal lifestyle and broke off their relationship. During the fourth season finale, Margaret and her kids ended up shacking in with Nucky's rival, Arnold Rothstein (Michael Stuhlbarg). As the famous Godfather saying goes, every time Margaret wants to leave, something pulse her back in.

In our recap of the fifth season premiere, Margaret (Macdonald) witnesses the shocking suicide of her stockbroker boss. The reason he shot himself in the head is because there is an internal investigation going on. Margaret discovers her former boss had been holding secrets of his own, inside a locked file cabinet, which she unfortunately has the key to.

In the video, we see poor Margaret being interrogated by her no-nonsense superiors. Even though Nucky's ex can handle herself, playing like she doesn't know anything, her two bosses are absolutely angry about the money swindled from Rothstein's fake account.

With this clip, audiences get a chance to catch up with what has happened in the time jump from last season to Nucky's recent plan to repeal Prohibition.
