With Marvel's Daredevil already in production, a cast member from the HBO drama, The Leftovers, is joining the superhero series on Netflix. Actor Scott Glenn will be introduced to audiences as Stick, the teacher who trains Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock to become the man with out fear.

In the Marvel Universe, Stick is recognized as the sensei who trained Daredevil, Elektra, and the vampire hunter Blade. In Frank Miller's run, Stick teaches his students at the Chaste to be pure and clean from evil infection. Though arrogant and pompous, the skilled martial artist believes his charges are formidable against the Hand, an evil ninja group.

This isn't the first time audiences have met Stick. Actor Terence Stamp (The Limey) played the sensei in Jennifer Garner's action flick, Elektra.  If you have seen the episode The Garveys At Their Best, then you know the Silence of the Lambs actor will bring in his own take to the role.

In The Leftovers, Glenn played Kevin Garvey Sr. two different ways. In the flashback episode, Garvey Sr. is more in control and easygoing as the commanding police chief. But after the Departure, he is mentally disturbed and had to be sent to an insane asylum.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Bourne Ultimatum actor has joined the cast, but word is tight-lipped about how many episodes he will be in. Will we see The Leftovers actor with the rest of the cast at New York Comic Con?

Marvel's Daredevil will premiere on Netflix in May 2015. Readers, are you excited to see Scott Glenn as Stick?
