So with one divorce almost out of the way, Married At First Sight star, Monet Bell is searching for love once again. The FYI show experimented with three couples putting together spouses that have never met before their wedding. Bell's marriage to Vaughn Copeland was the only unsuccessful marriage, as the two decided to divorce in the end.

During an interview with Sister 2 Sister Bell opened up about the show, and how she feels now with her life after being married for five weeks.

When asked how her experience being on the show went, Monet said:

"Life changing. I think when you start off, you start off with these hopes of falling in love. That's what you sign up for. That was my reason. You want to fall in love and you want that happily ever after. From day one, it was overwhelming and for me, it was hard. It's very intense. It's not easy, especially because we weren't compatible. It was a struggle. We had a lot of low points. It wasn't all horrible, but we definitely went through a lot of rough patches."

Monet received a lot of criticism for having sex with her new husband on their wedding night, and everyone wants to know if things would've been different if they waited to be intimate.

"He would have acted the same way 'cause that's just who he is. You'd be surprised how much I have to defend sleeping with him...The other couple admitted that they slept together on their wedding night, too. We talked so much about sex and it appeared that we were having so much sex, but in reality, we stopped. There were times where sex was a comfort, yes. That was the one aspect of the relationship where there wasn't a problem. You have to gravitate toward what's easy. It wasn't so much we're just humping around. It was intense. You have all these emotions running. I'm not saying it was the best decision to do. In that moment, that was a coping mechanism for both of us."

It seemed that Monet's husband, Vaughn wasn't everything she wanted, as she requested the experts to find her a man with drive and ambition. Monet claims that she wanted stability but didn't get that.

"No, I asked for that; I just didn't get it. Here's the thing: All I wanted or was asking for was stability. I just wanted a man that even if he hadn't gotten to where he wanted to be, he had a plan. When we start getting down to the meat of a relationship, part of it is sustaining a family. What's your plan? I expect an answer. I want to know you thought about it. This is my plan. If I ask a question about what's our plan, and you don't have an answer, I'm going to be a little apprehensive... At 30 years old, I expect us to be equally yoked and on the same playing field. That's not the case. I asked for stable, not rich or wealthy. I just want to know you have a plan. If you can't answer that question, I don't know what to do with that."

Monet also admitted that Vaughn upset her plenty of times, making things hard and difficult in their marriage.

"I was very upset. He made a comment last night [on the six-month reunion show] that rubbed me so wrong. He said something along the lines that I act kind and nice on camera and that's not what reality is. There's not a time that I wasn't trying to make the best out of the situation. There's evidence that I wasn't happy all the time. In general, I was nice. I wasn't angry. I knew what I was signing up for. I was trying to make the best out of it. One day he's happy; one day he's mad. It was hard to handle. I'm just going to put a smile on and try to hope for the best. I just never really knew."

After the reunion aired, Vaughn also quickly tweeted,

Although Vaughn asked for an African American wife, Monet seems to believe that her soon-to-be ex-husband has issues with black women.

"I do. There were instances where we had conversations, and he would say, “Don’t you think Black women are argumentative or combative?” There is always somebody with a chip on their shoulder to perpetuate the poor image of African-American women. At any given time, if I’m passionate or don’t agree with something, why is that unacceptable? Why does that lump me into a stereotype if today I’m having a bad day? He did a JET interview last week and I read it and the moment I got to the portion to it about argumentative Black women…If you don’t get how much bigger this is. That’s hurtful to African-American women. It’s not fair. White women get angry, too, but you direct it to me because I’m a Black woman because I have an opinion and am passionate and because I don’t agree with your point of view. It’s not okay. It’s bigger than just he and I. You have to have some understanding about how big the situation really is for our community. As far as him…he swears up and down that he really wanted a Black woman. I think in theory it sounded good to say; I think an ideal woman would have been more timid and more submissive…I’m not sure if that’s the word I want to use." Monet admits that she is alittle jealous when she looks at the other couples, and their marriages because they decided to stay together through the ups and the downs. "I'm kinda jealous. I wanted that love. I wanted that to develop. Me and Jamie and Courtney went to dinner...Courtney said she was sorry that that situation turned out the way it did. I told her, "Don't stop telling me about your happiness because don't minimize your happiness because my situation didn't work out." They do have something that is real. Their love is real and that makes me feel better about the show."

Monet joked about her cooking saying that may have been one reason the couple decided to split.

"I probably could have been in a cooking class before this show started. [laughs] I'm joking. Now, I cook once a week. I've had some successes and I've had some failures. For me, I think that instead of me saying that I want a traditional man, I think I've changed that a little bit. I think from a traditional standpoint, I want the man to be a gentleman and chivalrous. I think when I originally asked for a traditional man, I wasn't specific enough. I was too broad in what I was asking for. At that time, I wasn't completely clear. You talk about these women with these extensively long lists. I've never been that woman. My list has been kinda broad in the past. I thought not being so detailed would benefit me better because it left me open to meet somebody I wouldn't normally go out with on my own. I probably should have been very detailed."

As in what she is looking for in a man now, the reality star says,

"The #1 thing is you gotta have ambition, motivation, and direction. You gotta have a plan; you gotta know what we're doing. I also need a man who values my opinion and respects me. I need a man who cares whether or not I'm happy. Plus, he needs to be gainfully employed and want some babies. [laughs]."

Now that she is single, Monet claims she is also getting a lot of attention.

"These men are crazy. I got these messages with some weird stuff. It's just so bizarre. [laughs]."

Fans of the show want to know if Monet is dating, She revealed:

"I went out on a date, I want to say, Sunday, and that was interesting. I'm not ready to jump full force back into it, but I'm getting my feet wet. I actually really feel like I'm going to meet the right guy for me. I'm going to chill out for a while. For some reason, I really feel like I will fall in love and it's going to be sooner than later."

Monet says things are good with Vaughn now.

"We're really good. It's interesting because we spent all this time arguing and fighting. Then, they put is in a van to the airport together alone. We actually needed that. That was the first time we could actually say, "I'm sorry" to each other. "Though we know we weren't a good match, do we have to be this mean to each other?" I want Vaughn to be happy. I really want good things to happen for him, and I think good things will happen for him."

So is there love, or a spin-off show soon to follow?

"I would be open to it. I wouldn't do "Married at First Sight" again, but I am still looking for love. I'm not scorned. I'm not bitter. I'm not jaded. I still want all the stuff I wanted. I can have that one day."

We hope Monet finds love and her Mr. Right soon!
