Lauren Conrad is known as the tasteful fashionista from Laguna Beach and her wedding party was no doubt a replica of her taste. Her bridal party consisted of ten bridesmaids! But how did she pick those specific ten?

The MTV reality star took to LaurenConrad.com to blog about her tough wedding decisions. Here motto in increasing her wedding party was "The more the merrier."

We couldn't agree more, her wedding was stunning! Bridesmaids included.

"I didn't mind the idea of having a large bridal party ... to a point (you don't want more people standing up then in seats!)" the reality star said. "It really is a personal preference, and I knew that having a bigger bridal party with all my best friends was the way to go. So, I chose my sister and a bunch of my besties to do me the honor of being my bridesmaids, and I couldn't be happier with my decision."

Conrad and her hubby William Tell got married at a boutique winery in California's Santa Ynez Valley. Guests included other MTV guests like her Laguna Beach co-stars Stephen Colletti and Frankie Delgado.

Her bridesmaid-turned-wedding planner Cassandra Herschenfeld and Lo Bosworth were amongst the ten bridesmaids.

"I didn't mind the idea of having a large bridal party... to a point (you don't want more people standing up than in seats!). It really is a personal preference, and I knew that having a bigger bridal party with all of my best friends was the way to go. So, I chose my sister and a bunch of my besties to do me the honor of being my bridesmaids, and I couldn't be happier with my decision."

Conrad even knew that she would have to get into logistics of the a larger bridal party, for example how will all your bridesmaids fit at the alter? If they don't Conrad said they can always sit in the front row. She went on to say that the bride and groom should plan the wedding the way they want.

The advice she gives is spot on, "Now, all of your besties might not live in the same state (let alone the same coast as you), but that doesn't mean that they should be excluded. My advice? Include your far away friends anyways, even if they won't be able to take part in all the activities. I also think it's a good idea to take into consideration people who are going to be in your life for a long time, like your partner's sister(s) or best friends"

The guidance Conrad left her readers with was to do what you please with your wedding. If you want one bridesmaid so be it! If you want 15 go right ahead! "This special day only happens once, and you want to make sure it's everything you've dreamed of"
