The Season 3 premiere of Arrow is just a few weeks away, and the anticipation is high for the return of the CW series. We've already gone over tons of spoilers, and the CW has just released the official description for the season premiere, so we have a taste of what's coming in the third season.

But let's have some fun and offer up some predictions for what will happen in Season 3. We stress that these are just our guesses and NOT spoilers in any way. Some of them will be well within the realm of possibility, while others will be kind of wild and way out there because what fun would this be if we didn't get a little crazy?

So without further ado, here are our five predictions for what will happen in Season 3 of Arrow.

1) Oliver and Felicity will wind up together by the season finale.

Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) go on a date in the Season 3 premiere, but we're going to assume it goes horribly wrong. But this situation sets up well to bring the two characters together by season's end.

Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) will have a rapport with Felicity that could easily turn into a romance. From what we've read so far, Ray will throw a monkey wrench into Olicity fans' dreams, whether by accident or design. So imagine a scenario in which Oliver and Felicity's date goes south and then she meets Ray. Oliver broods for most of the season and then they find their way back to each other in or before the finale.

2) Slade Wilson will return.

The show made a huge deal out of Oliver's not killing Slade (Manu Bennett) in the Season 2 finale. Instead, Ollie stuffed him into a cell on the island of Lian Yu. And as any comic book fan knows, eventually a villain in a cell is going to escape.

But even if Deathstroke doesn't break free, he can still appear if Oliver has to visit him in prison for some reason. Maybe to discuss Ra's Al Ghul (Matt Nable) and how to stop him?

3) Another main character will die.

Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell) perished in the Season 1 finale at one of the lowest moments of Oliver's life when he failed to stop Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) from destroying the Glades. Oliver's mother, Moira Queen (Susanna Thompson), lost her life when Slade stabbed her through the chest just to make Oliver suffer.

We'll take a shot and say another main character is going to depart permanently before Season 3 ends at the hands of Ra's Al Ghul. If we had to pick a candidate, then we'd go with Diggle (David Ramsey). He's a new father, and we already know Oliver wants to keep him out of the field to keep him safe. Sounds like a tragedy waiting to happen.

4) Laurel will take a major step toward becoming Black Canary.

She may not actually suit up in the full costume, but she'll do something that propels her toward becoming the costumed crime fighter. Maybe Laurel (Katie Cassidy) saves Oliver's life, or she trains enough with the Wildcat that she's able to fight off an attacker all on her own. Either way, she'll be one step closer to her sister's identity by season's end.

5) Thea will learn Oliver's identity...and try to kill him.

We've already seen clips of Thea (Willa Holland) training with her biological father, Malcolm Merlyn, in the trailer for Season 3. And last season, Thea wasn't too happy with the fact that her brother was keeping that secret, among many others, from her. So if, nay, when she finds out that her brother is the Arrow that has been running around Starling City, she's not going to be pleased. And with Malcolm as her teacher, her thoughts might even be poisoned enough for her to try to kill Oliver.

Hey, we said some of these ideas would be crazy!
