'Honey Boo Boo' Mama June, Sugar Bear Break Up 4 Months After Exchanging Vows

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo stars, Mama June and Sugar Bear Thompson have filed for divorce.

According to E! News the TLC reality stars released a joint statement saying that they are keeping their daughters: Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, and Anna "Chickadee" Shannon first as they take time away from each other, "Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship," the said. "We are taking things day by day, but regardless of what happens, the girls will always be our number one priority. We want to thank y'all for your support."

In May, the couple exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony, but never officially married. In an interview with People magazine in May the reality star gushed over her nuptials

"The day was very special mostly because my girls were able to take part in it," June told the mag, "I felt like it was important for them to see this moment and celebrate my love for Sugar Bear." She gave advice to fans when it came to choosing the right man for herself, "Never settle for a man who doesn't treat you right," she said. "If a guy doesn't love everything about you, move on! There are plenty of other fish in the sea." 

She continued, "I give this advice to my daughters, because I always want them to be themselves and surround themselves with people who love them for them."
