Jason Aldean is yet again defending his relationship with Brittany Kerr, who he was caught cheating on his wife with in a Hollywood bar in 2012.

"It has been two years of this s--t", he told Billboard magazine. "Get over it, already! When I finally do get enough of it and say something, every newspaper grabs it. And I'm not trying to get in the headlines — I'm just trying to get people to stop running their mouths."

Kerr's instagram page is full of romantic photos of her and Aldean.

Aldean and his former wife of 12 years, Jessica Ussery, have two daughters together, Keeley Williams, 11, and Kendyl Williams, 6. After trying to reconcile after the news broke of his affair, Ussery and Aldean divorced eight months later in April 2013.

As the "My Kinda Party' singer has two daughters to look out for, one can imagine that the cheating ordeal is still fresh on his mind. "I'm pretty private, but over the last couple of years I've gotten that taken away from me, which kind of pissed me off," he said. "You know, my kids get on there and read all that. I go post something on my page right now that says, 'Hey we just donated $5 million to a children's cancer research center,' and somebody would get on there and go, 'You're an asshole cheater."

His new love interest, Kerr, is a former American Idol contestant from season 11 and a Charlotte Bobcats cheerleader. Coming from Charlotte North Carolina to the fame and lights of Los Angeles can be a whirlwind for many and it seems like Kerr got caught up in the scandal.

"When I got my golden ticket [on American Idol] I was extremely thrilled, but I still feel like I'm in a dream and I just can't believe it," said Kerr.

Aldean's former wife, probably can't believe it either.

The "Dirt Road Anthem" singer confessed to Billboard, stating, "I hope people feel like what you see is what you get with me. I don't try to be something I'm not. It's too much work to try to be something else."
