James Blair has gotten his wish, times two.

Back in March 2013, Blair - a Cleveland Cavaliers fan who desperately wanted LeBron James to return to his hometown team - ran toward the Quicken Loans Arena court wearing a t-shirt that read "WE MISS YOU, 2014 COME HOME" during a game when James' then-team, the Miami Heat, were in town.

Blair made it all the way down to the court, calling out, "Hey, LeBron!" Security guards, by this point, had Blair wrapped up, but he still got a high five and a pat on the head from King James himself.

Blair was then escorted off the court by security and immediately banned by the team from attending any future Cavaliers games.

As CBS reporter Matt Moore noted, "that's an extremely dangerous stunt for both the players and fans and you don't want to encourage that kind of behavior."

There were reports initially that Blair's ban was a lifetime ruling. As it turns out, the ban was just for a year.

Now, not only has LeBron returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers roster, but Blair's permission to step foot inside of Quicken Loans Arena has been reinstated.

Fear the Sword, a Cleveland Cavaliers blog hosted by SB Nation, announced the news via its official Twitter page early Monday morning.

"Cavs communication staff confirms to Fear the Sword that James Blair is allowed to attend Cavs games," writer Chris Manning tweeted.

Blair took to Twitter shortly thereafter to confirm the news himself.

"Guess I waited long enough and everyone keeps asking so.. YES my ban is lifted and I [can't] wait to enjoy the games at the Q with everyone!" he wrote.
