Attention fellas! The Magic Mike sequel, Magic Mike XXL, may be a box office treat for you as well. Jada Pinkett Smith confirmed during an interview with Queen Latifah that she would be performing in the new sequel.

"You know Channing Tatum and Gregory [Jacobs] and Warner Bros. really took a chance. There was a character written for a male that they wanted to turn into a female," Pinkett said.

And so her character was born.

Enquiring minds would like to know, will Will Smith's wife be strip teasing it for the camera? Unfortunately not, "not one of those [characters] I can't really reveal it yet, but I'm excited about it."

Smith is not the only new cast addition, Johnny Depp's beau Amber Heard is also featured in the comedy-drama film directed by Jacobs.

Pinkett, 43, will be rubbing elbows with her co-stars who have nothing on but a bow tie and firefighter boots!

Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Alex Terryfer and Gabriel Iglesias will be amongst the skimpily dressed group. Sadly Matthew Mcconaughey will not be filing this sequel.

"I'm used to being around beefcakes like that because you know who I live with!" she laughed about husband Will Smith. "I'm used to that kind of beefcake-ness in my environment. I can handle it!"

The film is scheduled to release July 1, 2015. Where the strippers take a road trop from Tampa to Myrtle Beach for a convention.

In July 2012 Tatum confirmed the sequel via twitter, "Yes, yes and yes! We're working on the concept now. We wan to flip the script and make it bigger."

The filming has already begun on August 31 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They will also be filming in Savannah, Georgia.

Pinkett was also on board the new blockbuster movie Annie, starring Jamie Foxx as producer. She also is the executive producer on The Queen Latifah Show.
