Bow Wow And Erica Mena Defend Their Engagement, Couple Says Their Love Is Real

Erica Mena and Shad Moss shocked everyone when Mena revealed that the couple were engaged over the weekend during the BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet. Although some fans were happy, others thought it was a publicity stunt.

After-all the Love & Hip Hop New York star was dating a woman, Cyn Santana last season, and now Erica wants everyone to know that the relationship the two ladies shared is now over.

Mena made that clear when she called into Hot 97 in New York saying,

"Let's R.I.P. that situation," explaining that her love with 106 & Park host, Bow Wow is the real deal.

"I'm doing things different with this one. I'm perfecting this one more than ever, so that this lasts the way it's supposed to," Mena said. "This is going to be forever. I'm really happy right now."

Saturday, Mena revealed that Bow Wow was not only her boyfriend, but her new fiance'. During an interview on the Bet Hip Hop Awards 2014 "green carpet," the reality star told one reporter that she was getting married.

When asked was Bow Wow her boyfriend, Mena said, "he's actually my fiance'."

Love & Hip Hop New York comes back in November, and fans want to know will the couple's relationship be on display for the everyone to see?

Mena is definitely in love with her alleged engagement ring, as she puts it on display via Instagram almost everyday since announcing the big news.
