When it comes to marriage, NBA star Daniel Gibson says that he was in it for the long haul. During a interview with VLAD TV Gibson said that he doesn't believe in divorce, but insisted that he wasn't going to make Keyshia Cole stay in their marriage if she didn't want to.

"I don't believe in it," Daniel stated when asked about divorce, insisting that he wanted to make things work. "I would have been willing to work through whatever the problem was because I always felt like that's how it's supposed to go. If she filed the papers, I wasn't going to be like, 'No, don't do it; let's stay together,' but I wasn't going to be the one who initiated it."

Gibson, and Cole aren't quit divorced yet, but estranged now so maybe there will be hope. Daniel has admitted to cheating on the singer, and now Cole is rumored to be dating someone else....Birdman.

MStars News reported that Cole was arrested at Birdman's condo after allegedly assaulting a woman who was visiting the rapper, and CEO.

"...you can't force 'it' to be something. You can't force consistency, loyalty, or even honesty... You can't force them to keep their word, or to communicate, or to realize something special is in front of them," Keyshia wrote during the time of the incident.

Daniel didn't release a statement regarding Cole's current issue with the law, and Birdman but he clearly blames the media for the negative effect it has had on the couple.

"In the media, it's more publicized and glorified, the bad things that happen within a relationship. If something bad happens in anybody's relationship and you're in front of the public eye, it's going to get blew way out of proportion," he said.

"In your situation, if you two are not just tied together like best friends...your problem can start to go too far, and you can't catch it 'cause you're going to start hearing what everybody else say gotta say because now everybody's so accessible due to social media."
