Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier have a fight coming, and with every day it seems like the tension and importance surrounding this light heavyweight championship fight is growing.

"Bones" Jones and Cormier had a brawl at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Hotel, and it seemed like a small punishment would be heading their way, but Jones is facing a huge punishment — one that could change, and possibly ruin, his Ultimate Fighting Championship career.

Jones had been fined and hit with a community service commitment, but it is one that might just help Cormier. On top of that, he has lost his Nike deal.

Jones is one of the best athletes in any sports, let alone the UFC, and he takes his training seriously, but now he may face more adversity.

He had to undergo 40 hours of community service before his fight with Cormier, while his rival only has 20 hours to complete. The pair were set to fight at the end of September, but the match was postponed until January after an injury suffered by Bones.

"Bones" has lost time, money and a deal with Nike, but it seems the worst punishment is yet to come.

Jones has a tough training schedule and certain restrictions on where he has to be and what he has to eat, but that might change. He hit out via Twitter.

Jones explained his frustration, tweeting, "Using all 40 hours in one city just seems different I mean there's kids all over the country that could use a visit." He also tweeted, "A minor setback for a major comeback #victory."

He posted, "40 hours of community service in Vegas with a fight coming up is the only thing that really concerns me. The fact that this needs to be completed before the fight is definitely going to have effect on my camp. I respect the commission though. I am excited I get to work with kids though that part is a blessing in disguise. I'll give them my best"

Could this be the end of Jones? Time will tell.
