Comedian Sarah Silverman has tackled quite a few mediums: she's appeared on the stage, on television, in film and even on the page. And now, the once-upon-a-time Comedy Central star is expanding her talents and setting her sights on the Broadway stage ... at least, writing for it.

Splitsider reports that the famed funny-woman is creating a musical based around her 2010 memoir The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee. The former Sarah Silverman Program lead made the announcement earlier this morning on Howard Stern's Howard Stern Show.

The comedy site notes that Silverman's production will feature music by Adam Schlesinger, who has composed music for shows and films such as Cry Baby, The Dana Carvey Show, Saturday Night Live and Crank Yankers.

Sadly, Silverman admitted to the iconic disc jockey that she will not be starring in the show. She also declared that there will be no authentic urine involved in the production. Stern reportedly asked whether or not there would be an "actual bedwetting" scene. To which the comedian replied, "There won't be actual urine coming out of the urethra, but yes. Great question, Howard –– that is why you are the best."

So, while there's no real urine, there apparently will be a bedwetting scene. So ... that's good.

In the end, Stern reportedly gave the project a thumbs up.

The Bedwetter tells the tale of Silverman's life growing up in New Hampshire, having been slapped with the unfortunate title of "bedwetter" until the age of 16.

The comedian's memoir is available for purchase on Amazon.
