'RHOC' Gretchen Rossi & Slade Smiley Pregnancy Rumors? Former 'Real Housewives Of Orange County' Stars Using In Vitro To Get Pregnant

Are Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley trading their housewives badges in for some parenting ones? According to new reports they are. The former The Real Housewives of Orange County stars, who got engaged on the series last year, are trying to get pregnant via in vitro fertilization.

According to RadarOnline, in an interview the couple gave to OK! Magazine, the stars explain that they are turning to the procedure in order to make their dreams of become parents together come true.

"As we begin to age, we want to make sure we've done everything possibly to ensure a healthy baby," Slade explains to the magazine.

The 40-year-old reality star and his 35-year-old fiancée said that after realizing that they wouldn't be able to have a baby the natural way that they hope IVF treatments will help them bring a child into the world.

"Actively pulling the trigger to make a baby is very powerful," Gretchen explained, saying that the process has brought her and Slade closer than ever. "We go through every step together. As I'm crying and putting in shots that are very painful, Slade is right there with me."

And while the couple will wait to see if the first egg implantation is success in November, Gretchen does say that it would be an amazing thing to have her child at their wedding in the distant future.

"Slade and I have been together for five years," the RHOC star stated. "We already feel married and know we're meant to be together for the rest of our lives. It'd be pretty amazing to have our children at our wedding!"
