Kristen Bell Opens Up About Second Pregnancy, Gushes About Daughter Lincoln

Frozen star Kristen Bell is pregnant with her second child, and luckily it is as easy as the first time around.

Bell and husband Dax Shepard already have a beautiful daughter, Lincoln, and now they are getting ready for baby No. 2.

So how is the 34-year-old actress dealing with her newest pregnancy?

"Really easy, thank God," Bell told Us Weekly. "I've had a lot of friends who have had rough pregnancies, and I'm really, really thankful."

The happy couple announced their baby news in June, and Bell's baby bump is now completely visible.

"I can confirm that Kristen and Dax are expecting their second child and a sibling for Lincoln. The whole family is beyond excited," a representative for the couple told Entertainment Tonight.

Even though she has been pregnant before, the expectant mother is switching it up when it comes to diet this time around. The biggest thing to go? Sugar. The actress explained that as a couple, she and Dax went on a 30-day, no sugar diet before getting pregnant.

"The end of 30 days, we ate a bunch of brownies and cookies and nonsense. And within five minutes we looked at each other and went, 'Oh, my God. I'm going to barf. This is toxic.' It simply felt like our bodies didn't want it," she admitted to Us Weekly.

"The sugars I do now are, like, I'll have an apple, I'll have two apples, I'll have peaches, I'll have a huge thing of grapes. Being aware of high fructose corn syrup has made a big difference," she added.

As for their daughter Lincoln, 17 months, she is a genius, according to her proud mother. She might not be talking a lot yet, but she does sign, which is impressive for her age.

"But she can sign now and she knows 40 to 50 signs! I can talk to her and she'll sign in three-, four-word sentences, which is really amazing. She'll come in the kitchen and be like, [signing] 'More crackers please!' And I'm like, 'Yes, okay!'" Kristen told the publication. "She's MENSA, without a question. She's the smartest baby ever!"
