Las Vegas is about to get an even bigger piece of Britney Spears as the pop icon just announced that she is about to extend her 'Piece of Me' show until 2017. The star who has taken up residency at the Planet Hollywood since 2013 just revealed today that she is staying put for a little while longer, and she couldn't be happier about the decision.

Spears is currently doing promotional appearances in Europe for her lingerie line, The Intimate Collection, and revealed the good news during an interview with Richard Arnold of Good Morning Britain.

According to Digital Spy Uk, when the host asked about her plans to extend her residency the starlet revealed that she was indeed planning on staying in Vegas.

"Yes, yes. I'm very excited," the newly single pop diva explained of her extended tour.

And it seems that Brit is thrilled about staying in Vegas, as she explained that she doesn't think she would be able to travel on a world tour like she used to in her younger days.

"The way I used to travel all around the world and do a different show every night, I'm like, 'How did I do it?'"

She also explains that traveling to promote different products might be different than touring, but can still take its toll on a person.

"Promotion is a different story, and going to a different city every day, like what I'm doing now, it'll really hard," the singer explained. "But being based in Vegas and having one show that you just keep going back to, the consistency of that is really grounding and really cool."

This news couldn't make us more excited, as we now have a few more years to try to make it out to see Brit in Vegas.
