See Which ‘Harry Potter’ Star And Which ‘Gilmore Girls’ Alumna Are Teaming Up In ‘How To Get Away With Murder’

ABC's new drama How to Get Away with Murder premieres tonight, and there are some familiar faces.

Besides the show's leading lady Viola Davis, who starred in The Help and plays Annalise Keating, there are two actors we cannot wait to see this season.

How to Get Away with Murder stars Alfred Enoch from Harry Potter and Liza Weil from Gilmore Girls. Enoch, who plays Wes Gibbins, the boy-next-door who stumbles upon Annalise's darkest secrets in the new show, got his start in the Harry Potter series.

Can't quiet place him? Enoch played Dean Thomas, one of Harry, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger's Gryffindor teammates and Ginny Weasley's love. He is the child in the center of the foreground waving a flag below: 

"Wes is a hard part to cast because he's just supposed to be likable and sweet, and that's hard to find in an actor," creator Peter Nowalk told Zap2It of his casting choice. "We got emailed tapes from London, and there he was, and I was like, 'Who's that?! That's Wes!' I had never seen those Harry Potters, and I find out he's Dean Thomas."

The other character we are happily surprised to see in the new drama is Weil, who plays Bonnie Winterbottom in the upcoming series. You might remember Liza from her longstanding role on Warner Bros.'s hit show Gilmore Girls. Yes, Paris Geller is back on TV!

Liza has had a successful career as an actress, appearing in Scandal and Bunheads, but the part that will always stay in our heads is her role as the insane, study-crazed and uptight teenager Paris Geller.

Her witty banter, craft corner and inability to understand most social cues make her a character we will never forget. Too bad Lorelai and Rori aren't also appearing in ABC's new show. In How to Get Away with Murder, Liza will depart from her Gilmore role and play a sweet lawyer with an ability to fight when necessary that is the perfect counterpart to Annalise.
