Bow Wow (real name, Shad Moss) and Erica Mena are extremely "happy and in love." The popular "106 & Park" host just proposed to his "Love & Hip-Hop New York" sweetheart before the 2014 BET Awards earlier this month - and the VH1 reality beauty has no problem flaunting her extravagant new bling:

Some fans don't think the young Hollywood couple will last - but Mena believes otherwise... as long as fame and fortune don't ruin things.

Amber Rose shocked the hip-hop world earlier this week when she announced that she was filing for divorce from hubby and baby daddy Wiz Khalifa. Rumors are swirling that both stars were continuously cheating on each other throughout the marriage. Somehow, Mariah Carey's ex Nick Cannon is even involved...

And Mena is completely heartbroken over the break-up news.

Rich Dollaz's ex tells TMZ that her fiance will NOT appear on "LHHNY" - that'll probably kill the romance for sure:

While strolling in the Bronx on Wednesday (Sept. 24), Mena told the paparazzo that she's good friends with Rose - "Oh my God, I'm so sad," she exclaimed.

She even compared their relationship to the ultimate hip-hop power couple, Jay-Z and Beyonce.

She then explains:

"It discourages me, but at the same time it helps me realize that when you're in the spotlight you have to protect what's yours so much more than the average person."

So, what does that have to do with her own blossoming relationship with future hubby Bow Wow?

"A lot of people will be surprised to know that my fiance won't be on 'Love & Hip-Hop.' I'm just pro saving what's mine."

She then goes on to praise her main squeeze.
