50 Cent, Ciara Dating Rumors Confirmed: Rapper Explains Ciara's Support At Grandmother's Funeral, "She Came To Show Me Support"

Rapper 50 Cent finally opened up about his relationship status with ex-girlfriend, Ciara after rumors suggested that she was dating the mogul after being spotted at his grandmother, Beulah Jackson's funeral.

In an interview with Vibe magazine the entertainer revealed, "Ciara is a really good friend of mine and she came to show me support when I lost my grandmother because she had her relationship with my grandmother. People don't know but we have been friends for about four years so that's why [people] are surprised to come and see her support. It's unfortunate that somebody would take a picture [of her at my grandmother's funeral]." He continued, "You got people out there that are supposed to just follow and not have any significance at all. At the end, they look for any opportunity to take a photograph to get their followers up. Some things are supposed to be entertainment and some things are supposed to be part of your life. When your personal life become business, it gets interesting."

Although, Ciara and 50 Cent have moved on from their past relationship onto their new lives with their own children, Ciara's attendance proves that she and the rapper are still amicable despite their rough patch in 2012.

In September 2012, Ciara opened up to Power 106.1 Big Boy's Neighborhood about her relationship status with the "Hate It Or Love It" artist, "I've always said we were always like best friends," however when asked if they were still best friends, Ciara shook her head no and laughed it off.
