Gamers have the entire Marvel Comics universe to play around with in the newly released Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel's Superheroes video game. With the superhero game now in stores, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Groot and The Hulk have jumped right in to show off its "Day One Toy Boxes."

As part of their promotion of the game, Avalanche Studios and Disney Interactive Studios have teamed up to bring audiences two different sandboxes. As we mentioned previously, writer Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-Man) came up with the narrative starring the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the amazing wall-crawler. Once the gamer is done with the Playsets, they can continue on with the ToyBox.

According to its official synopsis, more Toy Boxes from the Disney Infinity Community Team were created in celebration of its release date. More free Toy Boxes will be added every week to show how easy it is for users to create, build, and share their own fantasy worlds.

In the first five free Toy Boxes, we have the Night Castle, where Spidey has to slide through giant plant vines and jump from one platform to the next. Then we see Star-Lord beating up Loki in "Fight Fighters." There's also "The Game Room," which has the green giant leaping from one ledge to another.

The popular Groot even shows up in "Pastry Panic!!!" The tree monster has to eat his cake before the clock runs out and there's nothing left. In short bits, we see Groot fighting an enormous rock creature.
