Eligible bachelor no more, George Clooney, 53, is officially off the market. The actor married Lebanese-British human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin, 36. They tied the knot in a twilight ceremony in Venice, Italy on Saturday, Clooney's rep Stan Rosenfield said in a statement. CNN confirmed.

Clooney's wedding was lights, camera and action as celebrity guests flew in from all over the world. Countless celebrities arrived at the wedding venue, which took place at the luxury Aman Canal Grande Venice resort.

The former most eligible bachelor in the world arrived to his wedding via a water-taxi filled with family, as he was seen waving to the paparazzi-filled boats and fans who were filling the Grand Canal bridges.

Clooney was seen sipping champagne and smiling from ear to ear.

Guests were being ferried in from their five-star hotel, Hotel Cipriani. Some of the guests that were first to arrive were Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Cindy Crawford and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour.

CNN reports that Amal wore a black and white dress, while Clooney dressed in a sharp and stylish gray suit and bow tie. He looked extremely dapper.

His bride and now wife has not been seen since Friday as photographers snapped photos of her in a red gown while out with close friends, including actress Ellen Barkin.

As we previously reported, the actor had 100 cases of his own booze, Casamiogos tequila, flown in all the way form California so it seems the married couple guaranteed a good time for partygoers!

The famous actor and his lawyer bride started dating earlier this year after meeting in Italy. By April, Amal was sporting a beautiful engagement ring. They wasted no time and got their marriage license in London this August.

Clooney couldn't be more excited to marry the beauty when he took to telling the crowd at an event he was attending, "I would just like to say to my bride-to-be, Amal, that I love you very much and I can't wait to be your husband."

Congrats to the happy couple!
