Once Upon a Time is returning to ABC tonight for its fourth season, and this year Frozen is coming.

Last season, OUAT teased that Elsa, from Disney's hit film Frozen, was going to take over Storybrooke, and tonight it is finally coming to life.

Meet Georgina Haig, who plays the Ice Queen before tonight's season premiere.

1. She isn't from America.

Haig is a 29-year-old Australian actress. She hails from Melbourne, which makes her a fish out of water when it comes to the cold, unlike her onscreen character, who loves ice and winter.

"I've never been skiing and I think I was already in my 20s when I saw snow for the first time. The show films in Canada, so I think it will be quite a shock to my system when winter comes around," the OUAT actress told People.

2. She found out she landed the role while on her honeymoon.

The Australian native married fellow Aussie actor and writer Josh Mapleston, known for his work on Home and Away earlier this year. On their honeymoon, Haig had to submit her follow-up audition tape with a little help from her new husband.

"We were on Magnetic Island and I did the first audition on tape. Then we went into the rainforest and had no signal, so the producers had to wait [to see my callback. And since we were on an island, Josh had to play Ana and tape it with me," she revealed to the publication.

3. You've seen her on TV before.

Unlike her onscreen sister Ana (Elizabeth Lail), Haig is not a stranger to TV.

She is currently on CBS's law drama Reckless as cop Lee Anne Marcus alongside Cam Gigandet. According to Hollywood Life, she was also on Fox's hit series Fringe as Etta Bishop.

"She died tragically in Season 5, but upon the final reset to 2015, she was alive again," the publication reported.

4. She had not seen the Disney animated film before landing the role.

Despite the fact that Frozen was such a huge hit at the box office when released in 2013, Haig admits she had not seen the film before landing the role.

"Wedding fever overtook me a little bit and I didn't get to watch too many films in the lead-up, but maybe that was a good thing because I could approach Elsa with a kind of freshness," she explained to People.

5. Her character will be BFFs with Emma Swan.

When adding in the Frozen storyline to the already popular fantasy of Once Upon a Time, showrunner Edward Kitsis revealed they really explored the dynamic between Elsa and Emma (Jennifer Morrison).

"What you just said is exactly one of the inspirations and why we were really excited and asked Disney if we could do Frozen, because we looked up at that screen and said, 'Oh, that's Emma's bestie,'" showrunner Adam Horowitz told Variety.

"They have so much in common and we just loved it, and so we really wanted to explore that because these are two people who really feel alienated, who aren't sure about themselves, and who have dealt with a lot of pain growing up, and are still coming into who they are as people," he said.

6. She is ready for the challenge.

The role of Elsa is going to be a hard role to play due to Frozen's already overwhelming popularity, but Haig said she is up for the challenge.

"It's sort of overwhelming," Haig told People. "I have a lot of responsibility portraying this universally loved character, but I think everyone will be excited."
