Jennifer Lopez, Leah Remini Get In A Hit-And-Run Car Accident

"Booty" singer Jennifer Lopez and best friend Leah Remini were involved in a hit-and-run car accident this weekend, but no one was hurt.

The mother of two reassured her friends and family that everyone was OK on her Instagram account Saturday.

The "On the Floor" singer was riding in the passenger seat while her friend and former King of Queens actress Remini was driving, according to the (New York) Daily News.

TMZ first reported the news about the hit-and-run, caused by a drunk driver.

"Law enforcement sources tell us ... Leah, who was driving JLo's car with the singer and two kids, were riding along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu when they stopped at a light. We're told a driver in a small pickup hit them from behind and then took off," the publication reported.

"Either JLo or Leah called 911 ... describing the driver and the pickup. Deputies raced to the scene and found the driver a short distance away, determined he was driving under the influence and arrested him for DUI and hit-and-run," TMZ said.

Lopez shared a picture of her and Remini at a stoplight, which was taken before the incident happened Saturday:

"Sitting at a light, Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!!" Lopez captioned the shot. "Thank god everyone ok!!! #GRATEFUL #THANKYOUGOD #DontdrinkandDrive!!!! #cursedthatfoolout #theBronxcameout #dontmesswithmycocnuts #mamabear #leahstayedcalm #thatwasweird."

Despite the fact that TMZ reported two children being present, JLo posted another photo of her twins, Emme and Max, alongside Remini's daughter Sofia sitting in the backseat of the vehicle.

"These three cuties make my day!! #Coconuts #Sofia #lunchwthekiddies #bigpimpin' #brooklynindahouse," the 45-year-old wrote Saturday before the accident happened.

No injuries have been reported and the event did not ruin anyone's day. In fact, Lopez and Remini took their daughters to see Demi Lovato at the Staples Center Saturday night.

"Thanks to auntie @Jlo Sofia got to meet her idol #demilovato #staplescenter #Coconuts #maxswantstomeetmaroon5," Remini wrote with a picture of Sofia and Emme hugging Demi after her performance.
