Jason Derulo, Jordin Sparks Address Carmen Ortega Cheating Scandal, Couple Break Up After 3 Years

Singer Jason Derulo has addressed his break up rumors with now ex-girlfriend, Jordin Sparks and denies any cheating allegations with model Carmen Ortega.

The "Wiggle" singer told ABC News, "I spent three great years with Jordin and she is one of the most amazing people that I have ever met," He added, "But as in all relationships there are ups and downs and at this time we have decided to amicably part."

After rumors swirled that the couple's break up was due to infifeluty, the entertainer clear4d up the drama to Big D on KDWB-FM, "Yeah, everything is cool," he added, "It's not a bad situation. You know, it's not one of those kinda things."

September 25, Jordin hinted that she isn't hung up over the break up tweeting, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

According to MediaTakeOut.com, an insider revealed that Carmen wanted the singer for herself a, "Carmen didn't even know about Jordin, and when she found out how serious she and Jason were, she broke it off. . . . Jason would lie to her and say that his relationship with Jordin was just for Hollywood." The source added, "Jason was texting her, and calling her like crazy. He was obsessed. I feel so sorry for Jordin."

In July the couple faced a cheating scandal after the R&B crooner was spotted with Carmen.

According to Calvin Blanco, Carmen's rep denied the affair and claimed that the two were working on music together the night she was spotted at the singer's hotel, "Carmen is a recording artist and was recording in the studio where Jason was and is nothing more than a dear friend of Jason's. She is very supportive of his career and is respectful of his relationship with Jordan. They are nothing more than friends."
