Singer Jason Derulo confirmed that he decided to end his relationship with singer Jordin Sparks.

In an interview with The Breakfast Club, the 25-year-old was asked if he broke up with the former American Idol winner because he was getting ready to go on tour and wanted to venture off with other women.

When asked if he cheated, he answered, "Nah, man. It got to the extent that, I got this one girl pregnant" he said referring to the many rumors surrounding their break up, "We had our problems in the relationship. Every relationship has its ups and downs. You know when you start having more downs than ups then you know you gotta take a look at your relationship and be like- is this something that I'm supposed to be doing."

The "Wiggle" singer opened up that constant arguing in the relationship was the downfall that led to the split, "It's just small things that added up. You know I work really hard. I'm all over the world and when I come home and you know the last thing that you want to do is argue and when it's more arguing than having a good time, just take a look at it... Is this healthy? He admitted, "I reached that point. I was more in a negative space."

The singer told ABC News, "I spent three great years with Jordin and she is one of the most amazing people that I have ever met," He added, "But as in all relationships there are ups and downs and at this time we have decided to amicably part."

After rumors swirled that the couple's break up was due to infidelity, the entertainer clear4d up the drama to Big D on KDWB-FM, "Yeah, everything is cool," he added, "It's not a bad situation. You know, it's not one of those kinda things."

September 25, Jordin hinted that she isn't hung up over the break up tweeting, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
