The Indianapolis Colts were forced to make a handful of roster moves on Monday amidst the news that Da'Rick Rogers and LaRon Landry were involved in two separate off-the-field behavioral violations.

First, the Colts released Rogers, a second-year wide receiver, after news broke that he had been arrested early Monday morning for suspected DUI on the campus of IUPUI. Head coach Chuck Pagano announced Rogers's release hours after the incident, citing conduct detrimental to the team, as reported by CBS Sports.

"I think the way things are set up here, it's a pretty good culture, a pretty good environment," Pagano said in a press conference on Monday, according to the Indy Star. "It's a pretty easy place to thrive and to grow ... If you can't make it here, it's going to be tough to make it anywhere."

He refused to comment directly, however, on Rogers's arrest or his release.

Shortly thereafter, the NFL announced that Colts safety LaRon Landry would be suspended without pay for the next four games for violating the league's policy regarding performance enhancing drugs.

No other details on his suspension have been provided.

Landry will be eligible to return to action on Oct. 27 when the Colts take on the New York Giants in Week 9. His presence in the secondary will surely be missed over the next four weeks, as he had already notched 23 tackles and a sack through the first four games, as compiled by ESPN.

And, in an ironic twist, Landry's suspension was announced on the same day that linebacker Robert Mathis was eligible to return to the team following his own four-game suspension for taking PEDs. Mathis, however, tore his Achilles tendon while working out during his suspension and will miss the remainder of the season to rehab his injury.

NFL.com reports that the Colts have signed safety Dewey McDonald to 53-man active roster to fill the spot that Rogers vacated, but a replacement for Landry has not yet been announced.
