Derek Jeter Goes For Coffee Run With S.I. Swimsuit Model Girlfriend Hannah Davis First Day Post-Retirement

Yesterday was Derek Jeter's first day of retirement, and he spent part of the day on a date with his model girlfriend, Hannah Davis.

The two were spotted in New York City grabbing coffee and enjoying the warm September temps, as reported by TMZ. They were dressed casually as they strolled along the streets of Manhattan.

Davis, most well-known for her 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue appearance, and Jeter have been dating for about a year.

Although there have been rumors that the two may soon tie the knot, Hollywood Life calls bogus on that claim, citing a source who professes to have inside knowledge of the couple's romantic plans.

"Derek is not getting engaged or married anytime soon," the insider told the gossip site. "He is only thinking about processing that his career is over. He is looking forward to taking the next few months to be out of the spotlight and he is looking to ring in the new year by relaxing and maybe getting into businesses like Magic Johnson or Michael Jordan did after their careers ended. He is actually looking forward to what life has to bring him now that baseball is on the back burner. But one of those things isn't marriage."

Jeter brought his 20-year Major League Baseball career to a close on Sunday with a single in the third inning as his New York Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox, 9-5, at Fenway Park. A few days earlier, on Thursday evening, Jeter brought the house down at Yankee Stadium when he hit a walk-off single against the Baltimore Orioles to cap his playing days in the Bronx.

Davis has been there for Jeter the whole way, attending both the Orioles and Red Sox series, and even joining her man on the field following his last game at Yankee Stadium.
