The Vampire Diaries is almost back and we couldn't be more excited about the season six premiere in just a few days. We do, however, have a bone to pick with the creators of the show for making us have to deal with the cliffhanger at the end of season five for all these months. Not cool. But we can forgive them as the new season is looking like it is going to be awesome.

From what we can tell from the spoilers that Dreadcentral.com revealed today, the season premiere is definitely going to be worth the months of waiting.

When we return to the series, it has been four months since the passing of Bonnie and Damon during the collapse of the Other Side and each character has their own way of dealing with the loss.

Elena has returned to Whitmore for her sophomore year of college but she has a very interesting and dangerous way of dealing with the death of her boyfriend. Caroline on the other hand has been nothing but productive since losing Damon and her bestie Bonnie. She has poured herself into find out how to reverse the spell that the Travelers put on Mystic Falls.

Stefan, still reeling from the death of his brother, reacts in a way that viewers might not expect, and Elena is shocked when she discovers what he has really been doing.

Along with the synopsis of what fans can expect from the season premiere titled, "I'll Remember" a few of the stars recorded quick video teasers on The CW's YouTube account describing where their characters will be in the new season.

Catch the season 6 premiere when it airs on Thursday, October 2 on The CW.
