Robin Williams Autopsy Results Delayed...Original Date Was Scheduled For Sept. 30, Results Expected Nov. 3

MStars News has just learned that former actor, and comedian Robin Williams' autopsy results will be delayed for another month, according to Marin County officials. Williams' results were originally scheduled to be announced on Sept. 30.

"We originally estimated Sept. 30, 2014 as the date these materials would be complete," the Marin County Counsel revealed in a new statement. "However the Coroner's Office is waiting for the scientific testing and analysis to be complete. The estimated date for the completion is Nov. 3, 2014."

Williams 63, died from an apparent suicide on Aug. 11 at the home he and his wife shared in Tiburon, Calif. Sources previously reported that William died by asphyxia, Marin County assistant chief deputy coroner Keith Boyd shared to the media on Aug. 12.

When the coroner was asked if additional testing would be done and revealed in the toxicology results, Boyd answered in an email: "At this time the letter [statement] stands for itself. We are still waiting for the completion of some scientific testing and analysis and will not comment further on the case at this time."

MStars News previously reported that Williams was found by his assistant, partially clothed, hanging by a belt in a closet door frame, after his wife left the house to do errands. The actor, had been treated for depression, before his death. The Marin Sheriff's Office found themselves in deep water when they described the details of how Williams killed himself. They revealed that the star tried to cut his wrist, and a pocket knife was found near Williams' body. The details were essential for the California Public Records Act.
