The Walking Dead Season 5 premiere is just a few days away, which means we'll finally get to see Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his friends figure out how to get out of that train car and take down the people of Terminus. And according to some new reports, the action comes quickly and violently this season.

The "Mega Buzz" column at TV Guide reports on the tone of the first episode of Season 5. "This season certainly doesn't waste any time getting into the action! Look for a very bloody first episode that offers some quick answers about the people of Terminus. Remember when executive producer Robert Kirkman told us that Terminus leader Gareth was not the season's major villain? That doesn't mean he isn't sufficiently creepy!"

Gareth certainly seemed like the main villain when he debuted in the Season 4 finale, but apparently that's not the case. It's also comforting to know The Walking Dead won't drag out the mystery of Terminus for too long.

As for the premiere, the "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine goes a step further in describing the episode. "I had to watch the first six minutes of the Season 5 premiere with a Trapper Keeper in front of my face - it was that gruesome. I'm shocked AMC's Standards and Practices signed off on it, to be honest."

That's a pretty surprising statement about a show on which blood spurts out of people like a fire hose and the survivors hack up zombies on a regular basis.

What do you think happens in The Walking Dead Season 5 premiere that is so bloody and violent? Let us know in the comments section.
