Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has already started to bring in more characters from the Marvel Comics, and another one is on the way in Mockingbird, played by Adrianne Palicki. But could we see two more characters, Hercules and Speedball, arrive on the scene?

Actor Fran Kranz, who often works with Joss Whedon, tweeted and then deleted a some names last week in which he seemingly revealed another upcoming character on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Robbie Baldwin, aka Speedball. Oh No They Didn't captured the tweet before it disappeared.

In the comics, Baldwin took on the moniker after energy from another dimension washed over him during a freak accident (isn't that how these things always go?). The energy gave him a shield of kinetic energy, and he eventually joins the New Warriors, a team of young heroes that includes Firestar, Nova and others. The team eventually gets involved in a reality show that accidentally leads to the destruction of a small town, which feeds into the events of Marvel's Civil War event. Baldwin survives but feels so guilty that he abandons the Speedball name and joins Norman Osborn's Thunderbolts.

In another interesting bit of news, the fourth episode of Season 2 features a character called Agent 33 (Maya Strojan). In the comics, the agent recruits Hercules to fight Ares and the Warhawks. This seems a bit out there for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but Comic Book Movie points out the showrunners spoke to Zap2It in February and confirmed they have "discussed taking their S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to fictional Marvel worlds." But they added "they're going to roll out new universes slowly as they want the characters to fully exist in their own world first."

Do you think Hercules and/or Speedball could appear on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
