To take a phrase out of Kathy Bate's bearded ladies book, "What you're about to see will astound your senses and harrow your very souls." We are talking about the all-new American Horror Story: Freak Show trailer. The fourth season of the horror series is almost here, and we couldn't be more excited about it. With only a week to go before the season premiere, FX has just released the trailer from the first episode, titled, "Monsters Among Us," and it looks like everything we were hoping it would be and more.

We get to see some the things that fans have been buzzing about all summer including, the return of AHS Asylum favorite, Pepper, Sarah Paulson's conjoined twins, and even Bates as the bearded lady.

The trailer, which at first glimpse looks kind of campy, does however get our blood pumping, as we catch the first sights of Twisty the serial killer clown. However, Ryan Murphy promised that the show wouldn't be all camp and it would return to the series scary roots.

So much so that Emma Roberts even told E! News that the first episode of the show gave her nightmares. "I have to say, Freak Show is really scarier," the star says, comparing it to last season Coven. "I read the script and I was having nightmares."

Fans also get to see Jessica Lange's character of Elsa Mars take to the stage as she belts out a Lana del Rey song. Yup, you read that right, Murphy confirmed on Twitter that Lange would be singing along to a Lana song.

"Don't be afraid!" the creator responded to a fans tweeted. "The clown is scary, true. But don't you wanna see Jessica Lange sing a Lana Del Rey song?"

Is that even a question? Of course we do!!

The all-new season of American Horror Story will premiere on Wednesday, October 8 at 10 pm.
