After scaring audiences with undead creatures in Vampire Diaries and serial killers in The Following, Kevin Williamson is now back with a terrifying all-new series on CBS. Our leading stars, Maggie Q (Nikita) and Dylan McDermont (American Horror Story) take audiences into the dark and sinister world of obsessive attention in Stalker.

Just like the Cursed screenwriter did in his Scream movies, the opening begins with the arrival of a masked madman. After a dangerous cat-and-mouse game, we end up with a lot of loud screaming and an exploding car. Lieutenant Beth Davis (Q) and Detective Jack Larsen (McDermont) are an unlikely pair matched together to solve the mysterious case.

Known for his violence in his horror movies, Williamson admits to TV Guide, "This is a scary show. It's psychological...It is about what lurks in the dark, what's peeking through the window, what's in your closet, what's under your bed."

In the footage, we see Davis taking down a perpetrator in the middle of the streets. Her perp cannot call the police because she won't allow it. After beating up her suspect, Davis describes herself as a "stalker stalking stalkers."

Larsen adds the comic relief to the dark-themed show. In the video, we see the detective discovering a peephole in the ceiling.

Davis shouts, "I bet we've got prints, DNA, and...other sticky stuff." But will any of these clues help the detectives find the masked slasher?

Stalker premieres on CBS, Oct.1, just in time for Halloween, at 10pm. Readers are you ready to be scared?
