Mockingbird has not yet appeared on Season 2 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but apparently discussions have already begun to bring Adrianne Palicki's character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as part of The Avengers.

In the comics, Bobbi Morse takes on the moniker of Mockingbird, becomes Hawkeye's wife and joins The Avengers. Palicki spoke to IGN, which asked if any discussions had occurred about Mockingbird making it to the big screen.

"Absolutely - that was one of the things that was discussed when I was coming on for the part, and you know, we'll see what happens," she said. "It's such a nice world that we live in that crossover can happen so often now which in the past it never really did so, to see these worlds come together on the small screen and the big screen is really cool."

This would be yet another example of Marvel's linking its movie and television universes, which it has done with mixed results so far. Captain America: The Winter Soldier tied directly into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and did it very well, while the show's connection to Thor: The Dark World in the first season was tangential at best.

Palicki also previewed her character's part on the show. "Bobbi Morse is another badass character," she said. "She has been working with S.H.I.E.L.D. for a bit...She gets along with the team very well."
