Person of Interest gets ready to suit for battle and more numbers in the all-new season 4. In the upcoming episodes of the CBS action/sci-fi drama, will become Amy Acker's Root become Harold Finch (Michael Emerson)'s "wingman" as they embark on a mysterious errand?

As we mentioned here, in the third season cliffhanger, The Machine was beaten by a much more powerful Artificial Intelligence, known as The Samaritan. To prevent themselves from getting caught by Samaritan's radar, the Harold (Emerson) and his group split and assumed normal lives. Now, thanks to low-tech resources, Harold is able to communicate with his team and still remain undetected.

In an interview with TVLine, the Angel starlet reveals an upcoming episode where Root and Finch have to team-up together. The duo have been at odds with each other since the rebellious hacker kidnapped and tortured the genius software engineer. Though Finch receives the numbers from the Machine, Root can actually speak with the AI.

On October 7, in an episode titled 'Wingman,' the two allies must work together for a top-secret mission.

Acker explains, "The main story has Fusco going undercover as a ladies' man, so he's getting this sort of makeover. At the same time, Root and Finch are acquiring things that will help in the new 'Batcave.' We're sort of getting the team ready for what's to come."

The "Batcave" is a reference to the underground subway tunnel where Harold is setting up his base of operations. Will this be enough for the Machine to defeat Samaritan?

Person of Interest continues Tuesdays, on CBS at 10pm. Readers, are you excited to see Root and Finch working together?
