Niles Paul, Richard Crawford and several more of their Washington Redskins teammates and coaches attended the All-Star Survivors breast cancer awareness event at Redskins Park on Wednesday.

In celebration of the event, the men all got their girly on –– donning makeup and wigs and even acting as makeup artists for some of the day's most special guests.

"We have our 31 women here that are currently in the fight of their lives, which we're going to celebrate," Tanya Snyder told Redskins.com. "We all really, really look forward to this event."

Snyder chose 31 women to honor –– one for each day of October, which happens to be Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The event, now in its seventh year, was hosted by Snyder – breast cancer survivor and wife of Redskins owner Dan Snyder – who also created the NFL's "Think Pink" campaign in the late '90s. Tight end Chris Cooley's mom, also a breast cancer survivor, was the inspiration behind this particular event.

"Helping these women go through this disease is so special to me," Cooley said. "It's nice just to provide a little escape, a little enjoyment."

Adding to the enjoyment for the women was a wig station, where women who had lost their hair could get fitted with a new wig to take home with them. They also received gift bags that included all types of goodies, like a pair of jeans from the Gap and a bunch of Redskins garb.

"This is a great event, especially being here in our building, us being able to host," quarterback Colt McCoy said. "My wife's aunt had breast cancer a few years ago, and it's always a tough time and trying time for families, kids, friends, everyone that's close to them. I think it's pretty cool that we get to host them in our building and show them a good evening."

Linebacker Adam Heyward concurred.

"Anytime I can help – doing a breast cancer event or just showing my support, whether it's wearing pink or appearing at some event – I definitely want to show my support and continue to help find a cure," he said.
