Self-proclaimed weed aficionado Snoop Dogg admitted to TMZ on Wednesday that he believes Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning made a genius move when he decided to open up 21 Papa John's Pizza franchise locations in Colorado, where it's now legal to smoke marijuana.

"I just think it's a great business play for him. You know what I'm saying?" Snoop Dogg said in a "Hollywood Sports" segment for TMZ. "Because first of all, Papa Johns do got good pizza, you know what I'm saying? Their pizza is a little bit better than Domino's and Shakey's and all those other competitors out there, as far as I'm concerned. Little Caesars give them a run for it, but Papa John's is alright for me."

Manning admitted earlier this month that the legalization of weed has been incredibly lucrative for his business.

"Pizza business is pretty good out here, believe it or not, due to some recent law changes," he told Sports Illustrated's Peter King during an "Unplugged" interview for Monday Morning Quarterback.

Plus, the fact that his Papa Johns commercials air nationally during pretty much every major football game doesn't hurt things.

"They got all that big commercial money so you see him on the commercials every Sunday and Monday nights, so you know he's getting all that airplay," Snoop said. "That's probably why he's doing so much business."

As for Snoop, he says he's got his own ideas about how to break into the popular munchies biz.

"I'm coming with my thing, you know what I'm saying? There's Snoop Dogg ice cream, I'm coming with that. Scoop Dogg Ice Cream in the Denver, Colorado, area with your added preservatives and flavors of your choice, you dig?"
