TV Land is adding to their current lineup by adding two funny new series to its network. On Wednesday the network picked up Impastor and Teachers as a part of its 2015 lineup.

"While TV Land, once known as home for classic sitcoms, kicked off its original efforts with multi-camera series, single-camera comedies now outnumber traditional sitcoms on the network's original slate," Deadline reported.

"The streak started with a series order to the single-camera Jennifer Falls in January, which has been followed by series pickups of only filmed comedies – Younger, the Jim Gaffigan show and now Impastor and Teachers."

Impastor stars Michael Rosenbaum (from Smallville) as Bubby Dobbs, a pothead who tries to escape a loan shark. In order to escape his gambling debt, he steals a man's identity and poses as a church's new gay pastor. The comedy also stars Mircea Monroe as Alexa Cummings and will be produced by Michael, Christopher Vane and Eric and Kim Tannenbaum.

Teachers stars The Katydids, a real life improv group that plays six elementary school teachers who are completely inappropriate and over their jobs. The Katydids is made up of Caitlin Barlow, Katy Colloton, Cate Freedman, Katie O'Brien, Katie Thomas and Kate Lambert.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "One [teacher] refuses to read fairytales to her students because 'sometimes Prince Charming wants to date other people.'" The new comedy will have the improve group on board to act and serve as executive producers alongside Alison Brie.

"Impastor and Teachers perfect examples of the type of comedies we're looking for as TV Land evolves its original series-innovative, unconventional, and hilariously funny for an audience that enjoys smart humor with a hint of heart," TV Land President Larry W. Jones said in a statement.

Both series have been picked up for a 10-episode run by the network and are set to premiere in 2015.
