If you've ever been to Times Square in New York City then you're well aware of the fact that the mascots can be a little... weird. And because we're all just too cowardly to say something to these sometimes creepy, sometimes kind masked creatures, TBS host Conan O'Brien opted to send in his correspondent, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, to do the job correctly!

O'Brien introduced Triumph's segment during the top of last night's episode, which housed guests Martin Short, Camilla Luddington and Ryan Adams –– and even a brief appearance from Larry King.

In the beginning of the puppet reporter's remote, Triumph jokes, "I'm standing in the middle of New York City where 7th Avenue meets conjunctivitis."

He then added that while Times Square used to be famous for being the home of many "sleazy, strung out criminals," today's version of the popular tourist attraction finds itself being the home for "sleazy strung out criminals wearing Elmo costumes."

To get better in touch with those behind the masks in Times Square, Triumph decided to get an interview or two with some of them... and then completely rip them to shreds.

Check out his report below:

So, what was your favorite part of the above video? It's difficult deciding between Triumph's incessant blows to the many mascots and his antics with Spiderman –– but him bullying everyone whilst dressed as one of them could very well be at the top of our list!

And just because we mentioned radio icon Larry King's appearance, watch that below!
