Bethenny Frankel was scolded by the judge in her divorce case to stop wearing her daughter's pajamas.

"No more pajamas!" Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ellen Gesmer said, according to the NY Daily News.

The incident in question was a picture Bethenny posted on Instagram of her wearing her daughter Bryn's Hello Kitty pajamas with the caption reading, "This is my daughter's nightgown and PJ shorts. Think we're ready to start sharing clothes yet?"

The photo of the reality star created a firestorm of controversy when it was posted in July with many criticizing her for being too skinny.

When Bethenny's lawyer Allan Mayefsky told the judge that "it was done as a joke," the judge was not having it.

"It's not a joke. Her child is not a joke," she said. The judge then said she was afraid Bethenny's daughter would see it later on when she grows up.

Other issues being decided by the court included how to divvy up the assets between her and her husband Jason Hoppy. The Skinnygirl founder sold her brand for an estimated $100 million so there's obviously a lot to split.

Bethenny's latest court appearance comes on the heels of her reported return to The Real Housewives of New York. According to US Weekly, producers are hoping to bring her back to jumpstart the sagging ratings for the show. The show has plummeted in recent years by about 2 million viewers.

"Bringing her back is a last-ditch effort," the source said of saving the fading series.

However, Bethenny has decided a return to the show that started it all for her is in the cards.

"I'm going in and out of Bravo, I'm talking to Andy [Cohen] about two different projects, because he's got a production company now," she said to SiriusXM host Jenny Hutt, E! News reported. "I haven't signed or decided to do anything. But it's not what everything thinks it is."

Was the judge right to scold Bethenny or was the photo just a harmless joke?
