Jennifer Hudson did a spot-on impression of fellow music artist Nicki Minaj, but did she go too far?

In a recent interview with radio and TV show Dish Nation, the Dreamgirls Oscar winner was asked about her job working at the fast food chain Burger King, while Nicki started at Red Lobster. The two came from modest upbringings to now being very successful.

Well, Jennifer took the opportunity to answer the question in the best way possible: she decided to mimic how the "Anaconda" singer would be as a waitress at Red Lobster. The impression is so spot-on that the hosts were cracking up. Check it out here:

That isn't the only diva Jennifer talked about in the interview. The Grammy winner was also asked about her former Dreamgirls co-star Beyoncé. Rumors circulated after it came out that two had a feud while shooting the movie musical. However, Jennifer disputed that and said the "XO" singer is one of the nicest people she's ever worked with.

"That's a misconception," she said of Jay Z's other half. "Beyoncé is the sweetest, shyest person ever. When we all in the room she's sitting there chillin'."

Jennifer has been on a publicity tour promoting her new album JHUD. The album bombed in its first week of sales opening at #10 on the Billboard charts with only 24,000 copies sold.

At least Jennifer can look forward to getting back to the big screen for the much-anticipated Sex and the City 3.

"I think it might be [happening]," she told Dish Nation. "Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it's in the talks, it might happen. So look for it. "

Did Jennifer go too far with the Nicki Minaj impression or was it all in good fun?
