The Game spoke to TMZ over the weekend and reminded us that the St. Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers National League Division Series, currently tied 1-1, has some similarities to the infamous Bloods vs. Crips rivalry in L.A.

Most notably the colors. The Cardinals are red, and so are the Bloods; the Dodgers are blue, as are the Crips.

At least for now, the rapper cautioned, St. Louis fans in Los Angeles may want to be careful about where they sport their Cardinal-red gear.

"It depends on where you at out here because the Cardinals are red," he said, wearing a red "BLOODMONEY" shirt himself. "You get caught slippin' in the wrong hood, it might not be about baseball. It might be about baseball bats."

Ironically enough, although the rapper has an affiliation with the Bloods, he's also a Dodgers fan.

"You know what, man, I'm into baseball," he told TMZ. "I ride with the home team."

He makes no secret of his allegiance to the Dodgers, considering he has got the team's interlocking "LA" logo tattooed on his face, underneath his right eye, inside a red star. Apparently, that tattoo is a cover-up of what used to be a butterfly tat, which he originally got as a symbol of his "rebirth."

While they were on the subject, The Game also reminded TMZ of his other California-based pro sports allegiance: the National Football League's San Francisco 49ers. He has their logo tattooed on his left arm, above the elbow.

When a reporter asked him a question about the Oakland Raiders and the team's oft-assumed association with his hometown of Compton, he was quick to set the record straight.

"You know what, I'm a Frisco fan, man," he said, showing off his 49ers ink. "Yeah, Niners. Oh, you knew."
