Prince William And Maybe Kate Middleton Are Planning A Trip To New York, Kate Still Has Morning Sickness

Prince William is coming back to America, but this time Kate Middleton might not be joining him.

People learned that Prince William is planning on making an official visit to New York in the fall, but Kate Middleton might not make the trip. "Although she has not been part of the original plans, it's believed that the palace isn't ruling out anything where she is concerned," People reported.

The Duchess of Cambridge's travel status is unknown based on her recent morning sickness problems. During her first pregnancy, Kate missed numerous events due to morning sickness and with baby number two on the way, she is having the same issues.

"The Duchess of Cambridge will not attend the Opening Ceremony of the Invictus Games this evening or the Athletics event tomorrow," the Palace told Us Weekly in early September when the Duchess missed a few events.

"In all seriousness, I hope my sister-in-law gets better soon," Prince Harry told the press (via Us Weekly). "The last time I saw her, she was okay. Feeling pretty poorly, but I think that's to be expected. Luckily I'm not a woman so I don't have to go through that. It's a pretty horrible thing," he added, after his brother and sister-in-law announced their second baby news.

During the first week of October, Kate had to cancel another appearance even though she was supposed to return to her royal duties once October hit. The 32-year-old Duchess is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum "similar in severity to to the last time," a royal source told People.

"I am truly sorry that I cannot be with you all today as you celebrate this milestone," Kate said in a statement. "My sincere apologies for not being able to join you, but I hope that I will have an opportunity to visit Barlby and see the Clore Art Room soon." 

As for the possibility of her traveling with William to New York, the Palace admits they are taking her schedule "day by day."

William's schedule for the upcoming trip has yet to be announced.
