The NFL and Bose are taking on Apple and their Beats By Dre headphones. Many sports stars are often seen wearing products made by the iconic brand. In fact, many superstars give interviews with the gear around their neck, clearly showing off, and sponsoring the already successful product. However, the NFL has placed a ban because of a new deal with Bose. Will any superstars break these new rules, and is it right that sponsorship deals stop what products an athlete can use?

Many stars are often in the public eye, so it'd be risky to wear the Beats products any time, or any place, so it seems like most players will switch brands all together, looking to please the NFL and Bose. The players are often listening to their pre-game music through their headphones, but now doing so could result in a hefty fine, ban, or other forms of punishment. The ban restricts coaches and players from wearing anything other than Bose, too.

There are even pre- and post-game time restrictions, meaning players will never know when and if they can go back to their beats. Lets be honest, who likes to change headphones every couple of hours? It seems as if the NFL will force their stars to use, enjoy, and endorse Bose products.

The NFL insisted it wasn't because of Bose, saying 'The NFL has longstanding policies that prohibit branded exposure on-field or during interviews unless authorized by the league. These policies date back to the early 1990s and continue today. They are the NFL's policies - not one of the league's sponsors, Bose in this case. Bose is not involved in the enforcement of our policies."

Is this a silly rule for the NFL stars to obey, or is it simply a part of their well-paid package?
