The bone-chilling "The Conjuring" follow-up ("Annabelle") just hit theaters earlier this month, to the delight of (some) horror fans:

Pretty freaky doll - but is that creepy porcelain face as scary as infamous "Child's Play" serial killer, Chucky (aka, Charles Lee Ray)?

Chucky first horrified fans on the big-screen back in 1988 - six campy sequels followed, ending with 2013's highly-modernized "Curse of Chucky" -

So... what do Mstars readers think of a murderous union between the two (not so innocent) toys?

According to "Child's Play" creator Don Mancini, a bloodcurdling crossover is definitely not out of the question. He recently told USA Today, "I am hoping that at some future point we have Annabelle and Chucky team up. I can see that [even] in 20 years from now."

Just the thought of it is horrifying - yet totally awesome.

Mancini is officially working on the seventh installement of Chucky's reign of terror, and would even be interested in an Annabelle cameo!

"We would be into it, the only problem is that we are in different studios. That would probably be years worth of red tape to work it out... if it all could be worked out, then yes, we're very into it."

Hmm - that might put an interesting twist on Chucky's relationship with Tiffany (played by Jennifer Tilly)!

According to Mancini, "The bride of Chucky is going to be very upset if Chucky starts to stray... If I were Annabelle, I'd be watching my back."

But even before seeing the spooky flick, Mancini hopes to be a fan of "Annabelle" -

"From the trailer, Annabelle is playing her fighting cards close to her chest... From what I see, her fighting style is very subtle. I want to know if she has some secret moves."

No word on who might win a bloody showdown between the two. But should be a great collaboration.
