George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's wedding was a star-studded affair and now one of those stars is speaking out about the lavish event. Comedian Bill Murray, in top form, started off with a joke when asked about the celebrity nuptials that took place over a three-day weekend in Venice, Italy.

"So everyone's just in T-shirts, you know, real casual," he joked on the Today Show. "It was real fun."

The actor, who was on the show promoting his new movie St. Vincent, wouldn't go into too much detail about the extravaganza, but did say he gave a toast in honor of the happy couple.

"I did speak. I did get to say something. I can't really recreate it, but it was something about the fact that –– a lot of people, it seemed, put their lives on hold until these people [George and Amal] found their happiness," he said, according to US Weekly. "Because they're both very, very, very good people and very considerate and thoughtful of their friends and families. So the idea that they got it now is liberating. It really is liberating to see them alive and in love."

The former Saturday Night Live funnyman wouldn't stop gushing about how much the two were perfect for each other.

"These two -- it's just miraculous that they found each other because they are so ideal for each other," he said. "People were very emotional about the fact that these two people found someone. That really was a great part of the party."

He reiterated the same thing when talking to E! News about the wedding.

"The best part of being at George and Amal's wedding was those two people finding each other," he said on the red carpet of the film's premiere. "It's just amazing that those two people-the way they are-found the other person. It's almost surreal. I am so happy for them!"

We still can't believe our invitation was lost in the mail!
