Looks like comedian Jay Leno is gearing up to head back to television! It's been said by The Hollywood Reporter that the former Tonight Show host is coming close to inking a deal with CNBC after being replaced by Jimmy Fallon back in February. Our question is, how does CONAN host Conan O'Brien feel about Leno's return after their feud a couple of years back?

THR reports that Leno has been in mind to host a primetime show that will focus on his love of cars. Let's just hope it goes smoother than the now defunct The Jay Leno Show.

It's always been speculated that Jay Leno cannot not be on television. After all, hosting the Tonight Show for just about 22 years will certainly do that to you! THR claims that the 64-year-old veteran comedian has been looking for a new home, having been "courted" by several networks such as CNN, History and A&E. But it seems he's staying somewhat loyal and keeping with a version of NBC.

Ratings for CNBC have been somewhat suffering in the daytime programing marketing. Of course, due to shows like Shark Tank, The Profit and Restaurant Startup, it's been broadening it's televised horizons.

As of this reporting, there have been no comments from the network, but NBC entertainment chairman, Bob Greenblatt, famously said the he hopes to keep Leno in the "NBC family."

"Nothing would make us happier than for him a la Bob Hope to still be a presence on the network," Greenblatt said.
